brown(ie) remains...

its probably...
* the cloudy afternoons

* lights are turned on in the middle of the day.
* hurried trips to the terrace to scoop up all the freshly washed & dried clothes.
* the huge raindrops dot the dry concrete floors & wet the green grass.
* the body and mind are propelled towards the kitchen.
* brownies are baked.
* steaming cups of chai are sipped while listening to the rain.

Seeing beauty in what remains....
Enjoy the monsoon:-)

I have missed your posts! Monsoon? Here in the north of sweden we need some rain, so you can send some of the rain over here! :) Beautiful pictures as always

It sounds like you're describing my day... The warm sun gently waking us from slumber, grey clouds rolling in... spitting, sloppy clouds spill their drops. Looks like shining jewels dotting the green fields. Take pictures, cook warm food, cuddle up close. Ah, these autumn days in summer are a welcome treasure...

Hi Archana,

I want you to know that your blogs have inspired me to start blogging myself. So thanks for Rang Decor (that's the first one that had me hooked)... and all the other blogs you so lovingly maintain.

I'm going to try this recipe (best brownies (flickr))...you have inspired me! We have the rains at the moment, but not that heat until later in the year(i look forward to it). Your descriptions are just as beautiful as your photography.
